Hello! I'm Julie, creator of the sewing pattern brand Atelier des Premières. You can find me on my eponymous Instagram account @atelierdespremieres where I share sewing tips, mini-tutorials and my daily life as a pattern designer and sewing addict. I first worked for 6 years as a Product Owner in the digital world before embarking on a professional reconversion and realizing my lifelong dream: working in fashion. For the record, it was while sewing frantically during covid that my partner said to me one day "but you have to set up a project around sewing!". Six months later: Atelier des Premières was born, with the objective of helping people getting started in sewing to sew their first garments. Since then, I have been offering sewing patterns with more advanced techniques, to best support my customers. For each sewing pattern, I also shoot a video tutorial on Youtube. Self-taught in sewing, I am constantly improving myself and continuing to learn to teach you simple, accessible techniques and help you create your first clothes. I look forward to sharing my love for sewing with you and helping you get started!
