Louis David ZEMO has taught English and French languages to secondary and high school learners for 15 years. He has been a Regional Pedagogic Inspector in charge of English language and bilingualism for 5 years. Since 2013, Louis David has been working as a translator at the Ministry of Public Health. His daily activities consist in translating documents dealing mostly with medicine, pharmacy, lab equipment and any other documents, from English into French and French into English. From March 2020 to date, Louis David ZEMO works at the Public information office of the Public Health Emergency Operations Coordination Centre (PHEOCC). This centre deals with epidemics and pandemics such as COVID-19. Here, I translate awareness-raising messages, radio and press releases, daily press briefings and other administrative documents related to COVID-19.
