Bonjour and hello! My name is Caroline and I am passionate about teaching English as a means of international communication. I live in San Sebastián and I offer English and German classes in Hendaye. I have been working in Northern Spain as an English teacher since 2018 at private academies and at the Laboratorio de Lenguas of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Bizcay. My students come from all age groups and have beginner level or prepare for Cambridge certificates. I follow a dynamic teaching style and I am aware of new learning strategies in order to facilitate the learning progress. I also consider myself a lifelong learner. I have received several trainings for teaching young learners with special emphasis on the natural acquisition of modern languages (L2 and L3). I have prepared my students for the official Cambridge exams KET / PET / FIRST Certificates. So far, I have taught children and young adults starting from the age of five, adapting the class activities according to their changing needs with the use of appropriate technology. My oldest student is 74. I mainly work as an English teacher. I also have experience in teaching Business English for employees of a global consulting firm, an NGO as well as individual entrepreneurs. I use the language immersion method for all my students and I ask them to actively participate in the class - whether it is a face-to-face or online class. I consider myself a life-long learner and my wish is to contribute to the education of global minds. I speak a basic level of French and I can help with general questions.
